In an age where quality woodworking is becoming scarce, Massey Woodworks remains steadfast in preserving the art of true craftsmanship.

Massey Woodworks is owned and operated by Chris Massey, a seasoned carpenter with over 35 years of expertise in delivering top-notch finish carpentry and construction services. Chris's journey in woodworking began in Boulder, Colorado, where he cut his teeth as a carpentry apprentice. He later established and operated a custom woodwork shop for nearly two decades in Ellensburg, Washington, leaving his mark on countless residential and commercial ventures, including restaurant renovations.

Chris continued to hone his fine carpentry skills by working with a high-end custom home building company in Boulder, Colorado, an award-winning architecture and construction company in Spokane, Washington, and a commercial development company in Eagle, Idaho

Now having set his roots in the beautiful state of Tennessee, Chris is again establishing his own custom woodworking shop, with a focus on creating architectural and specialty woodwork, and custom built-ins and cabinetry. Chris has supported designers, architects, contractors and homeowners with their custom design needs for many years, and is adept at transforming projects from blueprints (or even a casual napkin doodle!) into a flawless reality with his meticulous attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship.  

Chris and his wife Brenda's family includes five adult children and four grandchildren. They moved to Franklin in October 2023 and greatly enjoy exploring the back roads and small towns, the satisfying Southern meals, and (of course!) the live music that abounds in 'The Volunteer State'.
